CHARACTERISTIC PROPERTIES:

Nitrocellulose paint is high gloss, matt nictrocellulose – based paint with excellent hardness, accepted coverage, good softness to touch and good bending.

PARTICLES FOR APPLICATION:

• NC Paint Gloss, Matt
• NC Thinner

SUITABLE SUBSTRATES:

NC paint is suitable for application over 1K and 2K Fillers or NC Putty Surface must be cleansed.

SURFACE PREPERATION:

Following degreasing flat with the following sandpaper grades

• P400: to wet (mechanically or manually)
• P280: to dry flat (mechanically or manually)

MIXING RATIO:

SPRAY VISCOSITY:

18-22 second ford cup no.4

PROCESS:

• Apply 2 or 3 single coats allowing for a flash-off time.
• 5-10 minutes between coats
• By spray or by curtain coater, thinned with NC Thinner from 80% up to 100% to reach correct application viscosity.

SPRAY GUN FLUID TIP AND WORKING PRESSURE:

FILM THICKNESS:

15-20 microns for one coat

DRYING TIME: At 25⁰C

RECOMMENDED SAND PAPER GRADES:

• 1K and 2K Filler with paper P320 – P400, mechanical or dry manual sanding
• NC Putty with paper P320 – P400, mechanical or dry manual sanding

PACKAGING:

1 Ltr and 4 Ltr

SHELF LIFE:

2 years at 25⁰C
